According to our observations, most often these are young teachers and scientific leaders who still have to write a doctoral dissertation and who need to “collect statistical material.” Scientists are less likely to do this, seeking to publish their work in reputable foreign studies, where there is still interest in global cross-cultural research on Russian samples. Often a student goes for it, working with a respected, often “fashionable” supervisor – this is a kind of payment for being close to the scientific idol of this student group. Probably, not only the teacher (or supervisor) is facing a moral choice here, but the student himself. Although situations are possible here when a student is literally obligated to conduct such research under the fear of “failing to pass the test” or on the pretext that “a student must still learn and he must do what he is told” …
If a student participating in the collection of such data is at least mentioned in the work of his supervisor, then there is no ethical problem. Moreover, the student really gains the experience of literate (according to the highest requirements) conducting such research. A problem arises when a poor student is not even mentioned, although he has done a lot of work, which in ethical terms is completely incorrect.

Real teaching involves not only the transfer of the foundations of this science to students, but also the constant demonstration of possible reasoning about these fundamentals, as well as the demonstration of the capabilities of the scientific method itself in analyzing and solving psychological problems. Only then will the student understand why scientific knowledge and methods are needed at all, and it is then that he will develop a real educational and professional motivation. In addition, real education implies not so much the formation of the famous “professional knowledge and skills – ZUNs”, but the formation on their basis of the pеrsonality.
Of course, the teacher needs to assert himself, just how and at whose expense? If the teacher is a creative person and he has his own scientific ideas, then often in the classrooms he speaks them along with other points of view. And if the student audience perceives these ideas, then for self-affirmation of a teacher-researcher it is no less important than the recognition of his ideas in the scientific community.
